Today news from John Held Jr arrived though the social media to inform us that Shozo Shimamoto died 3 days ago on January 25th, just 3 days after he became 85 years old. How will Shozo be remembered?

Sad news indeed. Have fond memories of meeting Shozo along with Ryosuke Cohen and Mayumi Handa in 1990 in London as they participated in the NetRun from Battersea Park to Brussels. I helped paint the white van they were travelling in.
You must have seen my marks on the Van as I was in Köln that same year where I met those three too. I actually took the photo there. They travelled from there to England.... Fond memories indeed
