I am quite sure that after two or three years the glue will not keep the parts together. As it will also happen to cards I've got. Now, do you take precautions? Do you re-glue cards of your collection?

Actually I do that sometimes.
Looking through my archive which is over 30 years old now I find that glue is not a problem- all collage seems fine after all this time. Stickers and sellotape are the worst offenders.

For my own artistamps, postcards, and other mail-art released by Cascadia Artpost, I have purchased two looseleaf Lindner stamp albums with two kinds of blank pages with protective plastic sheets, which have been large enough to hold my own work produced since 2001. As I produce new works, I often add background or historical notes in the album. I will start a third album in 2009.
As for mail art received, I have two large postal sacks filled with mail received over the past year. Annually I sort the mail into file cabinet folders, but I am now at the point where I will reorganize everything into storage boxes by artist.
