Art od Mail-Art?
Art is for me a too general word. There are enoygh definitions for that. Ad MAIL means that communication (from maker to viewer, from sender to receiver) is connected to the artwork. So an essential element of the artpiece has to do with communication c.q. mail.
Mail-Art is a conceptual art-form. The artifacts it produces have nothing to do with mail-art but instead could be art (or sometimes not even art).
Mail-Art has to do with process, not with the final product.
Any postal type "art" or commentary that is in some way artistic and mailed through postal machines is mail art to me. I think e-mail mail art is just a digital version for today, but not what was started of course historically and I prefer the snail mail kind.
Some time and a postage stamp.
