Feel free to start your own discussions here. I hope this will get an interesting place for you all.....
Hi Ruud. Thanks for inviting me. I don't really have much time to spare for more blogs as i contribute to over a dozen already and it's hard to keep up one's own blogs let alone participate in others. But I will try and put in my five sents every so often.
I do feel though that the yahoo groups were getting too much spam ( I had to leave one for that reason ) and the other was mostly mail art calls and very little chat going on. So this is a welcome blog I think and hopefully will attract some interesting banter.
Ciao Ruud and (I hope) the many mail artists who have joined this blog. I have been publishing KAIRAN - Mail Art Forum zine since 2000 so I obviously like to discuss anything related to m.a. and networking. Michael is right when he writes about being too busy and not having enough time to do everything. This year in particular Italian mail artist Claudio Romeo has launched a similar project (DodoDada) but only for Italian speakers, and it's been a smashing success. I guess we Italian are more ready than other people to talk, discuss, argue, etc... I plan to translate some of our interesting discussions and projects into English in the future and publish them in KAIRAN - Gianni Simone from Japan
Hello Gianni. Sorry I havent been in touch lately for reasons too numerous to mention but highlighted in the comments above. Ciao!
